Cosmopolitan International Diabetes Center to hold Annual Diabetes Day Nov. 1
COLUMBIA, Mo. — University of Missouri Health Care’s Cosmopolitan International Diabetes Center will hold its 17th Annual Diabetes Day from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 1, in the University Hospital lobby, One Hospital Drive, Columbia, Mo.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature a variety of health screenings for blood pressure, body mass index and osteoporosis. Medical experts will be available to offer information about issues specific to persons who have diabetes, such as medications, insulin pumps, glucose meters and nutritional guidelines.
