Hahn-Cover named Associate Medical Director of Office of Clinical Effectiveness
Kristin Hahn-Cover, M.D., an internal medicine physician at University of Missouri Health Care, has been appointed associate medical director of University of Missouri Health Care’s Office of Clinical Effectiveness. She will serve with physicians and staff throughout the health system to improve health care quality.
Hahn-Cover has been employed at the health system since 2000. She completed her residency and medical school training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. In addition to her new role, she will continue seeing patients at University Physicians-Fairview Clinic.
As associate program director for the MU School of Medicine’s Department of Internal Medicine residency program, Hahn-Cover previously worked on quality improvement projects in the residents’ continuity clinics.
Hahn-Cover is a graduate of the health system’s Performance Improvement Leadership Development Course, a program designed to provide UMHC employees with quality improvement tools and knowledge to serve as health care leaders.
